My apologies to everyone who’s taken the time to leave comments on any of my previous blog entries.   Unfortunately, some of the files in this web site got corrupted; and the quick fix was to restore the entire web site from a backup copy -- at which point, all the comments got lost.   They’re still out there on a server somewhere, trying to find the previous copy of my web site (which isn’t out there anywhere, because I deleted it).   Such are the perils in using version 1 of new software.
