In the early 1950’s, a Little Golden Book was published entitled, “I Can Fly” by Ruth Krauss with illustrations by Mary Blair. The book was popular and caught the eye of someone who thought the little girl and the graphic style would be good for a Meadow Gold advertising campaign. So in the mid-1950’s, a few commercials were made by TV Graphics, Inc. of New York (owned by Mary Blair’s husband, Lee Blair). I have two of them - they are both similar but one is for milk and one is adapted to advertise ice cream.
