31 August, 2008
Greetings!
These meditations are intended as companions to the current Peace Circle Story launched on June 30, 2007.
Recall that in that story ('The Magic of Love, the Miracle of Laughter'), Wisdom Teachers and Elders from the Four Directions come to the assistance of Arnaq's mother and her fellow balloon holidayers stranded on the high plateau of a distant land. At the end of the story, Arnaq, a night commuter child stranded in present day Northern Uganda, closes her mother's journal and wishes fervently that elders would come to her assistance just as they did in her mother's story.
In real life, the elders are now here! The newly created group of twelve, The Elders (Nelson Mandela, Jimmy Carter and others), are committed to the idea of a global village and will ‘contribute their wisdom, independent leadership and integrity to tackling some of the world's toughest problems’. Also, the Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, whose vision includes ‘realizing projects that educate and nurture children’, will meet as a council in 2009 in Oregon, USA, and again in 2010 in the African rainforest encircling Libreville, Gabon at the homes of two of the grandmothers.
So, for our precious children of the world represented by the fictional Arnaq, assistance is on the horizon.
The meditations are scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Fluid Time on any evening of the days listed (your choice). However, in the spirit of Fluid Time, please feel free to do the meditations according to the nudge of instinct. Please join us wherever you are in the world.
And as always, I shall keep the flame of peace burning symbolically from midnight to midnight on the days of the Golden Peace Meditations.
Laughter and love heals the disconnect from our innate wisdom
and allows us to unlock wisdom solutions
to all problems large and small.
