In 2003 we started our Canal Cruising with a 10 day cruise in Eire on the Shannon.  We hired a Clipper cruiser from Crown Blue Line in Carrick on Shannon and returned it 10 days later at Portumna.  Two friends accompanied us.

Two years later with 2 other couples from our Yacht Club we spent 20 days cruising the Nivernais Canal in Burgundy France.  This time we hired a larger Elegance from Connoisseur.

2006 saw us moving north to Holland and cruising on a Clipper again this time exploring Friesland.  My sister and a friend from Vancouver accompanied us this time.

2007 will see us cruise the Midi Canal with two other couples.
