We have just concluded the 18th West Coast Falco Fly-In at French Valley airport here in Southern California.  Ray and Penelope Hecker organized a very successful gathering of Falco-philes.

This time the weather in So Cal is usually warm, sunny with temperatures in the 80s and 90s.  But of course NOT this time when the Falco Fly-In was scheduled.  A fast moving low pressure moved down from Canada.  It was quite windy and cold, in the mid 60s when the Falcos (six of them) landed in good shape on Thursday afternoon.

Friday turned out to be a spectacular day for flying.  Many builders got some stick time and I know that Gordon Cook got log book time for his flying.

Then on Saturday we had planned to fly in formation over to Chino for a tour of the Plane of Fame Museum.  That flight did not materialize because the rain and low ceiling made us drive our cars to Chino.  That worked out okay, and the museum was interesting.
