Biblical: The Scriptures Old and New Testament rightly understood   provide the highest source of truth for our lives, trumping experience and culture. A primary value of the Church is to provide a place where the Bible is taught and discussed in the context of community, with emphasis placed on the proclaiming of the gospel of Jesus Christ, his life, death, burial and resurrection and implications.

Authentic: As the Scriptures are explored and truth is revealed we then seek to live our lives according to that truth in the strength of the Holy Spirit, we seek to do this in a transparent fashion with the understanding that we are not authorities but students, having not yet arrived but enjoying the journey to Christian maturity.

Relational: We understand that it is Christ who builds the Church through the proclamation of the gospel, and it is He who places people in the Church for the express purpose of constructing a community of light, a family of God, where people can functionally love and serve one another and worship Jesus with the various gifts given by God for the ultimate purpose of transforming the world.

Relevant: The Church serves the community by becoming missionaries and ambassadors representing the Kingdom everywhere we go. The Church does not exist to serve the needs of the members, but serves to equip the members to be effective missionaries in their various spheres of influence. This is most effectively accomplished by removing any cultural hindrances to the communication of the gospel and practicing hospitality and acts of service in a culturally relevant way.
