About the picture:

 

Taken at the fishing pier, Sanibel , Florida, during Arthur Morris Post-Christmas IPT, last December. Snowy Egrets were fighting over a bucket of fish and ended up doing acrobatics up in the air. Cloudy weather made this image a lot easier to get, since there was very little contrast and no shadows.

Shot with Canon’s Mark II and the 70-200/4, plus 1.4X tele-converter. using manual mode, f/5.6, s/s 1/500, ISO 400.

Hand held and no flash was used.
