My daughter is fascinated with Japanese language culture. She has been taking Japanese language classes for the past year. She creates her own manga based upon Japanese mythology and, at nine, has already announced her intention to attend art college in Japan.

 

I did this 3.5”x5” watercolor and graphite study of her lying on the living room floor this evening practicing her kanji calligraphy.
