My daughter wanted us to get right back into the routine of going to the Botanical Garden early in the morning (before it got too hot to draw.) So we were up and out the door bright and early this morning. Although we lost a bit of time when we stopped for breakfast tacos (If you’ve never visited the Southwest you’ve probably never partook of this tasty treat - but you should.) the kids and I had a wonderful time just chatting.

 

I spotted this brilliantly colored flower cluster in the Four Seasons garden and dashed off a little watercolor and graphite sketch on HP watercolor paper. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed producing it.
