If we want to be comfortable drawing all subjects during our upcoming travels, I decided that it was time to add figurative sketches to our “training syllabus.” So, I finished off this little Winsor & Newton sketchbook with a quick 4”x 5.75” watercolor over pen & ink study. It’s a bit raw and I felt a bit nervous drawing directly in ink. But, then, that’s why we wanted to brush up on our skills before we leave home.
