The artist began designing and creating jewelry when her first child was less than a year old. She needed a new creative outlet that she could participate in for an hour -- while her daughter sat quietly entertaining herself -- but then be finished with, clean-up and all, before the little one decided she needed Mama’s attention again and right away. She preferred an activity that would give her a sense of satisfaction and completion after doing it for only an hour, so she started making earrings as gifts for friends. Hence the beginnings of Everyday Diva! The artist gratefully thanks the people who have been most supportive of her work, especially her husband, Aaron; her friends Amber, Mel, and Cecelia, who taught her some fine tricks of the jewelry making trade to get her started; and her friend Lauren, whose expertise and guidance have been utterly instrumental in launching Everyday Diva.
