Hi, I’m back! Sorry for the blogging hiatus...things have been a little crazy around here lately- but here I am. I’m planning on keeping it up, we’ll see. :)

1.  My last name is Smith- like forty bajillion other people

2. My favorite ice cream is Hagen Daas Light Mint Chip

3.I’m terrified of pincher bugs

4.The summer I was fifteen I fractured my wrist twice- I’ve never broken any other bones

5.I love my job as an Interior Designer but my secret dream job is an Assistant District Attorney

6.I’m Emetophobic, (fear of throwing up), thankfully not to a very debilitating degree

7.I’ve been to California (obviously- I live there), Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Louisiana, Florida, New York, Hawaii, Mexico, Canada (both ends), Panama, St. Thomas, St. Martin, Castaway Cay, and Paris.

8.I love to surf AND I’m horrible at it.

9.I love to cook, but I hate to bake

10.I don’t really like baths- Don’t worry, I shower, I just don’t like to take baths to relax- It’s not relaxing, I might miss something interesting just sitting in there getting pruney

11.In my lifetime I have had dogs, cats, hamsters, goats, mice, rats, bunnies, a host of different fish, a chinchilla, chickens, birds, turkeys, a pony (this is cool but I was too little to remember), and frogs. And I’m not really all that crazy about animals- although it would be fun to have a turtle…

12.I have never played a team sport

14.I am however a passable artist-although I never draw/paint anymore, (maybe I should?!).

15.I have a crush on Huge Grant’s characters (not his personage), Mr. Handsome knows and he’s okay with that, (he has a crush on Meg Ryan)

17.My a Nazi about tidiness- Mr. Handsome calls me Monica (from Friends)

18.I am AWFUL at math but I tutored math in collage for extra money- I went to a private interior design collage and I was the best of the worst at math-that’s not saying much.

21.I rolled my car when I was 19

22.I’m 5’-2” and a bit and relatively petite

23.I was the night security guard at Hewlett Packard

24.In a different life I want to be a Beatnik- I like Jack Kerouac

26.I picked both the names my children are called by, (my son is called by his middle name), although Mr. Handsome agreed wholeheartedly; of course

31.Sewing is the one thing guaranteed to make me cuss, (quietly), but I get really excited when I begin a new sewing project.

41.Although I’m not that crazy about animals I have had two kitties that I dearly loved. Their names were Tegan and Chase; I did not have them at the same time. Chase is still alive and lives with my in-laws, he’s very happy there.

42.I love summer time and tend to be grumpy for quite a bit of the winter

43.I actually love my in-laws nearly as much as my own family, they’re wonderful

44.I would love to live in Manhattan; I love the bustle, the Subway, the museums, the little markets…

45.I love musicals and Broadway productions- my favorite is Le Mis

54.I once stopped my Dad from putting a badly hurt hamster out of his misery and then prayed for him like crazy, (Chubby Bear, not my father), he was fine the next morning- I was about five

55.I like talking in class and enjoy being a teacher’s pet even if I’m a bit embarrassed about it

56.I love telling a good story and one of my good friends says I have a talent for drawing the suspense out of anything

57.I once caught a puffer fish off a dock in Panama- it’s the only time I have ever fished

59.I am NOT a girly girl but I do love to get dressed up

78.I don’t have a very good voice but I love to sing- I could sing to my kids for hours

80.My favorite place in the world, (besides cozied up to Mr. Handsome), is the prayer chapel at Forest Home

81.I got engaged there and I also told Mr. Handsome that I was pregnant with Squeaker there.

84.I was born pigeon toed and wore braces and corrective shoes as an infant- my feet are fine now but I’ll never be a great runner

90.I was really crazy about John Grisham novels until I read several and found out they are all the same- I would still probably read the next one if he writes another
