I took the name, “In which every chapter is better than the one before...” from some of the last words in the Chronicles of Narnia. They are describing heaven and I want this to be my journey along the way there. It is also however, very descriptive of my life- I am as blessed as you can possibly imagine, and so far every chapter has been better than the last.

        Meet the crew:

            The Mama-aka “babe, sweetheart, hon, Mama McMama, my bestest lady” (as said by the boy)-

                    I am thirty years old, a San Diego native, an interior designer and mama by occupation and a hobby

                    photographer. I enjoy cooking, tidying, writing, talking, photography, walking, and am a wee bit of a foodie.

                    I aspire to be remembered for my relationships, especially that with God, and seek to earn the title of a

                    good and faithful servant.

            Mr. Handsome-aka “Daddy, Dada, my love, babe, sweetheart...-

                    The brains behind our operation. He is sweet, funny, kind, and often does the dishes. He is beloved by his

                    wife and children, and pretty much anyone else he meets. His few faults include a complete inability to find the

                    laundry hamper and a fierce love for all things sporty. He’s handy around the house and has been know to

                    spoil those he loves- and no, you can’t have him.

            Squeaker-(often called that in real life and so named because when he was really little, he squeaked)-

                    The other man of the house. Squeaker is three. Tenderhearted, smart, sensitive, and funny- He loves pizza,

                    soccer, baseball, air guitar, cuddling his baby sister, and snuggling his Mama. He says his “L’s” like “W’s” and

                    aspires to someday be a man.

            Odie-(also a real life nickname, given to her by her brother because that’s how her name came out from

            between his 18 month old lips and it just stuck)-       

                    She is seventeen months and by far the most girly and most fearless of all of us. She is cuddly and sassy,

                    sweet, funny, adorable, and can shriek such that you wish you had been born deaf. She spends her time

                    flirting with perfect strangers, wrapping the men in her life more tightly around her fingers, making cute faces

                    and gestures, and generally enjoying her place as princess of the castle.
