On July 20, 2008, Evergreen launched the initial phase of the Wonders Never Cease campaign, a two-phased capital fund drive to raise the resources necessary to purchase and renovate a church facility and four-bedroom house in downtown Pine City, MN.
Phase one of the campaign was conducted from August of 2008-January , 2009 with the goal of raising the necessary fudning to transition into the church facility from Pine City High School, help off-set the cost of the initial months of overhead expenses, and begin repairs and renovations of the church facility to make it functional, attractive, and a place where Evergreen’s ministry can effectively take place and continue to grow.
Phase Two of the Wonders Never Cease Campaign is aimed at the longer-term occupancy of our facilities and the expanding ministry needs that arise with the growth we’ve both experienced and anticipate. While much work has been done in the past six months there is still more to do, and with the growth of our church comes the need to address both the physical and practical needs that have arisen such as children’s space, technical adjustments, and even staffing issues.
