The new Refine Edge dialog box, Black and White adjustment and improved Merge to HDR automated feature in Photoshop CS3 all help the user to achieve quality or efficiency of workflow. All of these new features, however, have limitations and it is possible to work around these limitations and in many instances achieve better HDR images, Black and White conversions or more refined edges using the tips and techniques to be found in the new Photoshop CS3: Essential Skills book.
