On April 7, 2006, the University Singers of the University of Virginia performed their Spring Concert — a celebration of Mozart’s 250th birthday that featured his Mass in C minor and selections from The Magic Flute, with chamber orchestra and soloists.
Nearly 90 voices strong and led by UVA faculty conductor Michael Slon, the group is the University's premier SATB ensemble, and has received critical acclaim for recent performances of Bernstein's Chichester Psalms and the Brahms Requiem.
