Dominic’s Cochlear Implant adventure

On November of 2005, we decided to get a cochlear implant for Dominic.  We finally got a surgery date scheduled for May 4, 2006.  We have been waiting for a long time and we couldn’t believe the day had arrived.  Dominic was so brave through the entire process, before and after surgery. He bounced back the next day and his incision is very minimal.  He recovered as quickly as we blinked our eyes...quite amazing!  Here are some pictures of our exciting, yet, scary adventure.
Day One
We stayed in a hotel near the Phoenix Children’s Hospital
