Last September Balagan Theatre presented ‘Rapture of the Deep,’ a play I wrote courtesy of a grant from the City of Seattle Office of Arts and Culture. John Vreeke directed; the cast was Gerard Gravallese, Alyssa Keen, Lauren Kottwitz, Kris Mainz, Sean Marlow, Bobby Temple and Dylan Zucati with Nadia Tarnawski stage managing. The experience was truly illuminating and invigorating. I am so fortunate to have worked with such a fun and talented group of people.

Seattle Magazine and City Arts Magazine gave Rapture of the Deep very nice reviews. You can read them here, and here.
San Francisco’s New Conservatory Theatre Center is presenting The Stops, opening May 20 and running through June 25. You can order tickets from their box office page here.
Currently I am working on the Seattle Men’s Chorus show ‘Falling in Love Again’ featuring songs from Berlin’s Weimar period as well as a one-act opera written by Jake Heggie. The show opens April 2 at McCaw Hall. Go here for tickets and information. This show is going to be a powerful and enlivening show.
I am hard at work on the new Captain Smartypants show ‘Eat, Pray, Pant’ which is based on our favorite books. We will be putting our spin on everything from best-sellers to Russian classics in a merry mix of songs, scenes, video, dance and truly bizarre puppetry. The show plays at Seattle’s Town Hall on June 3, 4, 10 and 11. Go here for tickets and more information. (Ask for Kevin and tell him you are a huge Smartypants fan). We guarantee more laughs per minute than anything you are bound to see in any library or used book store.
