Roxy (aka PB Queen) ran the 800m in 2:43.9, just 3-seconds off her meet PB, and finished 28th overall. She also threw the Javelin 14.66-meters (48'01") and finished 25th overall.
Madie threw the Shot Put 5.15-meters (16'10.75") and finished 20th overall.
Hayden (aka Mighty Mite) is PBA's first medalist by finishing 3rd place overall in the High Jump with a jump of 1.30-meters (4'3.25"). He also threw a 7-meter PB in the Javelin with a throw of 26.38-meters (86'06") placing 12th overall. And he ran a PB in the 200m with a time of 30.58-seconds finishing 26th overall!
All three had a great experience at Nationals, which is the highest level they can compete at. I'm super proud of each of them. Thank you to their families who were a huge support. Also a special thanks to Alex, Emily, and Tujuan for helping with all the set-up and take down everyday, picture taking, and overall support for the PBA athletes. 2008 was GREAT!!!
