The Pine started in 2000 in California, with a sound that paid tribute to the “emo” forebears of the mid-nineties (think Evergreen and Ordination of Aaron) and looked forward. This was supposed to be an LP, but financial circumstances prevented this seeing the light of day. It was eventually released by Into The Hurricane and later rereleased by Alone. 100 copies pressed July 2001.
