Description of Services:
The Collaborative offers owners of any type of small business consulting services to analyze their current waste
management procedures and make recommendations to make the operation more sustainable, more efficient and
cost less.
The scope of work for a typical proposal includes the following:
1.Scrutinize the waste management practices of the business. Analyze the current costs and practices. Talk to facility manager to ascertain the work flow.
2.Research alternatives to the current practices. Look at diversion options and the local vendors and service who can service your business.
3.Develop a program for the business that offers different handling options. The program describe costs and potential savings as well a impacts to the work flow. The program includes:
Strategies to reduce the cost of waste disposal.
Strategies to divert waste from the landfill and incinerator
Strategies to make the material handling more efficient for the staff.
Strategies for long term sustainable purchasing practice.
4. Provide information and statistics about the new sustainable practices for the business to promote its new green commitment.
