ENID WOOD

Trained as a portrait and still life painter, Enid taught violin for many years in England before moving to central Texas and painting landscapes in pastel.

Her paintings begin with sensuous shapes and end as experiments in the use of color.  Enid is fascinated by the similarities between art and music. She enjoys exploring structure, gesture, and communication.  The movement of light, wind, and water provide continuous inspiration.
