The Geomatics program is the only 4-year program offering of its kind in the State of North Carolina. The program was launched in Fall 2006. Geomatics includes Surveying, Remote Sensing, Satellite Positioning Systems, particularly, the Global Positioning System (GPS), Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Photogrammetry and Mapping.
