Happy New Year!

What a fun Christmas season we had!  Kathryn’s dad came up and spent Christmas with us.  We had a little program on Christmas eve and Emil played the guitar, Kathryn played the piano, Maggie told a Christmas story using pictures she colored and grandpa read a Nativity book.  It was really fun!  We also got to see Kathryn’s mom and Val for just a short while and Emil’s brother Ammon and his wife Michelle came to visit.  Unfortunately we didn’t get to see Emil’s parents, his dad was in the hospital for a serious surgery but is recovering very well.  We are so thankful for our family.

Emil has started school again and received his grades this week.  He did so well we are proud of his hard work.  He’s also been interviewing for summer internships, it will be interesting to see where we’ll be this summer.  Maggie is getting so big and is as helpful as ever.  She loves to help cook, vacuum, fold clothes and participate in whatever else we’re doing.  Kathryn is enjoying the opportunity to be with Maggie every day and we’re all looking forward to finding out what the baby is next month!  Kathryn’s also excited about a quilting class that she gets to start this month!

We are still enjoying Spokane and are looking forward to this new year!  We love you all!
