The Discovery Museum during Digital Discovery 2008 brings together all kinds of fun and engaging events and activities for you, for EVERYONE(!) this February and March.

Visit the Discovery Museum during our "Digital Discovery" weeks and learn lots about digital cameras and photography, computers, the internet, video games and all kinds of new media and MORE.

People of all "digital" abilities, of all ages, will find something that will tweak their imagination as they explore the special exhibits, attend a digital workshop or lecture and meet experts and creative persons closely involved in the fascinating digital age we are now all a part of.

Special Guests and Events

Instructional Lectures and Hands On Workshops for adults and families covering a variety of topics such as tips on using your digital camera or insights into the fascinating world of social networking sites such as MySpace.

Instructional Workshops for local teachers on the
use of digitally equipped classrooms including
SMART Board interactive white boards.

Mini Courses and Drop-In Activities that offer hands-on exposure to creative digital media and entertainment products. Compose music with Apple's GarageBand application, animate your own robotic creations with M.I.T. designed Pico-Crickets and come see a showcase of the latest educational video games and toys.

Displays and Demos showcasing new technology products and services.

Educational and Fun Events for specific groups of technology users such as the LAN Party for video game enthusiasts.
