This year’s Moto GP Race at Laguna Seca was filled with thrills and spills.  Despite sustaining injuries after high speed crashes in the qualifying laps, both Casey Stoner and Jorge Lorenzo went on to give the crowds an exciting competition of men and their machines.  On Ducati Island, Capcom displayed their new MotoGP video game, Vicki Smith displayed her Mueseum pieces, and  DOCS sold tshirts to benefit the orphanage.  Ducatisti witnessed the release of the new Nicky Hayden 848.

Friday night DOCS hosted a dinner in Pebble Beach to honor Ducati North America and Ducati SpA.   In attendence were DOC presidents from around the state, DOCS members, as well as Ducati luminaries including Cristiano Sillei, Michael Locke, and legendary racers Frank Scuria and Cook Nielsen.  Asim from Shalimar cooked exquisite Indian delights in  a Tandoor oven, and we all enjoyed an evening of friendship and phenomenal food.
