D.O.C.S and Moto-Posto
D.O.C.S participates in the monthly Moto-Posto in San Luis Obispo.
D.O.C.S Monthly Philanthropic Rides
It has been said that in life’s long term analysis: “The greatest benefit to ourselves is the assistance of those in need.” It is in this spirit, and with the idea of garnering good riding karma, that D.O.C.S. coordinates monthly rides in the San Luis Obispo area dedicated to the benefit of the destitute and needy. At the outset of every ride, members put aside funds that are used for the most needy either locally, nationally or abroad.
Rides will take place, barring poor weather, before Moto-Posto on the second Sunday of every month. Currently D.O.C.S sponsors Veahavta, a local charity that supports a girls orphanage and elder care facility in the war ravaged region of Trincomalee, Sri Lanka.
