In the moment that we think that all is well and we can start to make plans for this year. We’ve been talking about it for some time now. This year is going to be better than the last, the medical problems are behind us. AND THEN...yesterday we went back to the doctor to find out what the pain may be that she has been enduring for about a week now. To our surprise and fears, another cyst is growing. This one is just a bit small then the one she had previous. Although the doctor appears to be confident that the meds she is on will work, surgery seems almost imminent. Because of this and the fear of future surgery, we feel the best thing for us to do at this point is to make this a matter of our full attention and get it figured out. We have discussed this with our mission director and on Monday we will be flying to Atlanta to stay at our mission and focus completely on this issue.

This was a difficult decision to make. We are making strides in our Spanish learning, and Costa Rica is home to us right now. We love being here immersed in the Spanish culture. God has different plans for us right now.
