We were able to get in to see the doctor again this morning. Cris had an ultrasound done to see the growth of the cyst and see what the dr had to say about it. To our surprise and thankfulness, the cyst has shrunk! Praise God for that!
The Dr wants us to wait around for at least another two weeks to see the progress of the cyst to see if it will continue to shrink or grow or what in the world it will do. He wants to put Cris on the depo shot to counter act the growth of the cyst, we are a bit against this because she was on this same shot previously and only had problems with it. We are hopeful that there are other options than this.
He did say that he is confident that Crystal has what is called polycistic ovarian syndrome which is a big name for lots of cysts growing. It’s really something that evidently she is going to deal with for quite some time in the future, but is manageable.
So for now we will press on and hopefully in a few more weeks we will have this all behind us.
Continue to pray for direction and wisdom that we will understand all that’s going on and the decisions we need to make.
