God Thoughts

Now that we’ve had some time to think about this new year, and clear our heads a bit, I wanted to let you all know of some things that God has in store for this year.
I absolutely love the this time of the year. It’s so comforting to be able to release the past, and look forward to the future. We have a lot to release from the past year, so this is a big deal for us! We heard a great sermon on this topic while we were home, but that’s another story.
First we’ll go ahead and let you see some of the past-Our video is now up for grabs. Click on the DVD tab, and there it will be.
I also think it’s time to tell you of God’s amazing provision for us throughout the last month.
2007 was the most difficult year of our lives ever without question. The bad started in January, and ended in the last week in December with the news that our insurance company was not going to pay for Crystal’s most recent surgery and hospital stay. We would be stuck with nearly the entire $8500 bill.
You know it’s amazing how God teaches us. I almost expected this to happen, so when I received the news, yeah i was shocked, but i didn’t freak out like i normally do. We just took it in stride and vowed that this one we would keep quite and only take to God in prayer. We were tired of writing our supporters saying we have more medical bills, we need more help. God was going to fit this bill, and that’s that. The amazing part...He did!
It is now only the first week of January, and I can write you and say that it’s clear. The bill is paid for. God just provided for it, and we are so thankful to be a testimony of His amazing faithfulness and mega-abundance.
Prayerfully this year is going to be a little bit smoother than the last. We are hopeful that our hospital days are over, we really don’t want to know the staff at the hospital on a first name basis. I don’t want them to bring me coffee when i walk in the door. I don’t want to walk into the ER and every one know my name.
But the lessons we learned are priceless, and will last a lifetime. Thank God for them!
We know you all are faithful in your prayers for us, but instead of praying for our needs today, take a minute and just praise God on our behalf for His amazing faithfulness!

Resolutions And Renewal
