Sounds a bit strange, and I hope that many of you who have feet of snow where you are aren’t to jealous of us, but it’s now summer time here in Costa Rica. Finally! Granted if you remember a few weeks ago, I wrote about our winter here with our 80 degree days and days of nothing but rain. But now that’s all about over, and only the sun is ahead of us. We’ll be sure to soak up some rays for you.
Austin went to his first basketball game tonight. He seemed a bit tense at first because of the noise and every time a team scored and the people cheered, he would jump and scream. After a few minutes he calmed down a bit and just watched. I think he enjoyed it a lot. We went to watch Austin’s best friend, Emily, as she did her routine as a cheerleader.
I keep telling him that one day he and I are going to a nascar race, we might have to work our way up to that though.
