We are currently seeking a Post-Doc in Ceramic Geoarchaeology.  The post will be initially for one year starting in January 2008 and includes the possibility of extension to three years.  Applicants should have experience in the petrographic and chemical analysis of archaeological ceramics, and should have an interest in analytical and experimental approaches to the processes of manufacture and use and the performance characteristics of pottery and clay.  Applicants will be expected to develop research projects at Stanford in collaboration with faculty.
