Elka knits
Once upon a time there was a knitter. Not a very good knitter but knitter nonetheless. One of her favorite things happened to be handknit socks. Her least favorite thing to knit? Wouldn’t you know it~ socks. She spent much time trying to talk socks out of other knitters. She cozied up to highly proficient sock knitters in hopes of getting some. She offered fully knit sweaters in exchange for socks. She made grand plans of knitting a lone sock every month so that she might have a half dozen by end of a year. This BTW was laughable since she only managed 2 pairs that year.
Fast forward to 2007.... her first FO of the year? Socks. And last weekend, well, she knit an entire sock. And started its mate. Kudos to cookie.
