Here we have a cheery photo from long ago to go with a cheery thought:

 

  I tend to believe that once a year I get sick.  A hazard of having small children if you will.  A wicked cold, the stomach flue something.  2006 was proving to be the rule breaker.  Until Dec 30th.  All of the sudden I was tired.  I felt feverish.  I had no appetite.  My whole body ached and my throat became scratchy from lack of eating and drinking.  So I had the flue.  I sent the girls to Todd’s on the 1st and on the 2nd my fever broke.  I had barely enough energy to drive to emergency room where I found out I had *strep*    Where is the cheery thought in all of this?  My one major illness of the year is almost over for 2007.  And it is only the 3rd day of the year.  Now if I could only eat something cus I am starving.....
