Other than the abfantabulous news that my divorce is final there isn’t much going on at Casa D’Elka.  Barely any knitting.  So of course I decided to play with my ravelry membership.  I have ‘belonged’ for about 6 weeks but never did anything with adding projects, pictures, books or friends.  I can see why people consider it a time sucker to begin with.    Erm that came out wrong~ it sucks up a lot of time when you first join... at least that is what I have heard.  I also joined Flickr so that I could upload the same photos  you see here.  So anyways I am claiming the Jays for  my sole ha ha ha project.  And I am 50% done with that.  Which is where I was at the beginning of Oct.... joy

 

  Oh and I purchased some yarn today because my blue/green/pink combos were not working.  I couldn’t find an appropriate pink to go with the blue and greens pictured above.  So I broke down and picked out entirely different yarns.... black/teal/pink for NB’s Norgie Socks.  Plus two colors of  a new yarn called ‘New Wool’?  It is about the same weight as Louet Gems but feels more crepe~ish.  Very interesting.
