A few years after 9/11 I saw a very special exhibit in a New York City museum composed
of beautiful memorial urns. They were all hand-blown opaque glass, meant to hold the ashes and honor those souls lost at the World Trade Center. Each was tied in silken cord.

This was my inspiration for creating my own ceramic memorial urns. Each is a unique
piece of art, meant to commemorate a loved one in a special way. Some are designed to hold only a portion of the ashes, others to hold all. They may be kept at home, perhaps for a little while, then buried or scattered as requested.
