Panemma in Danmark
Panemma in Danmark
I’m visiting Drude in Denmark, and what a great country it is. I’m thoroughly enjoying myself and my feeble attempts at Danish have also been of some entertainment value with Drude and her friends (Jeg kan ikke tale ret meget dansk).
On the way from Billund Airport to Århus, we stopped off at the highest point in Denmark which is a staggering 170.89 m.a.s.l. I had a lovely birthday meal and a pleasant couple of days in Århus (Mange tak Birgit). We went to an iron-age market with Drude’s best friend Jannie where we saw falconers and sampled some iron-age food (flat bread with sheep’s cheese, onion and honey) and to a great open-air museum - Den Gamle By - in Århus. From Drude’s lovely new place in Copenhagen we went to Roskilde to see the Viking ship museum and the lovely cathedral.
Yesterday I spent all day walking round Copenhagen - which I can highly recommend - its a lovely city! In the evening we tried out some fun rides and games at the Tivoli park. Here are the photos of the trip.
I’m leaving tomorrow, which is quite sad ‘cause I’ve had a great time but I’m also looking forward to heading back to Panama. Living out of a suitcase can get tiring after a while (especially when someone’s cats pee in it)!
