This is a wonderful conversation with two younger teachers who are looking to do what is best for kids.  I love it when they mention there are no more excuses for educators.  Rich DeLorenzo mentioned at the RISC conference that systemic change only occurs when there is great crisis or great opportunity.  Mike Schmoker echoes that and says that there is a great opportunity to know results now in our schools and these two front line teachers from the high desserts of California are seeking just that success.
