What is something you could do to help benefit the poor?
• Raise money for the World Hunger Organization.
• Raise awareness in our school community through posters and videos.
• Education.
• Install a play-pump!
• Think of others before yourself.
• Makes sure the money gets to those who need it.
• Build shelters and teach them how to live sustainably.
• Food drives, raise awareness.
• Donate to A-CET.
• Start a fundraiser and donate to a charity.
• Sponsor a child through World Vision.
• Teacher training – offer skills, not just money – key to escaping poverty is EDUCATION!
• Adopt a sister school (that is ‘poorer’ that yours) and engage in frequent interactions.
• Learn – it’s all about education.
• Unite them in a fight against poverty through sports and education.
• Advocate sports as a means to encourage communication and education.
• Educate and inform people of global issues such as poverty so that people get the message to help the poor.
• Reassess personal values: people before money.
