The life of a domestic engineer is a challenging multi faceted one. Maid, Cook, Child Life Specialist, Teacher, Counselor, Psychologist, Proctor, Nurse, Interior Decorator, Gardener, Taxi Driver, Mother, Wife, Friend, Coach, Judge, Juror, Executioner (Disciplinarian), Coupon Clipper, Bargain Hunter & the list goes on and on!  The career of domestic engineering is not earned in any institution of formal educational but in the school of life. It is a continuous pursuit of undergraduate experiences and learning that never seems to end. Our ever changing family and society in which we live demand a never ending and always adapting education. There is no Diploma, no PHD or bachelors degree for that matter. There is however the satisfaction of seeing my family sprout into full bloom and the knowledge that I helped make it happen. On the outside it seems that my life is on hold as others in my life pass on by, but in reality they don’t pass without a driver. That is the purpose of a Mother, a Wife, a Domestic Engineer!
