Diagnosed with Leukemia (ALL) on
February 9th, 2007


Began Chemotherapy: February 10th, 2007

Will finish Chemotherapy: April 23rd, 2010

Specific Prayer Requests

  1. That Karson would be completely healed of this disease.

  2. That we would all be protected from the H1N1 flu.

  3. That Karly would get over the apparent virus that is giving her a fever and that Karson would not catch this illness.

  4. That the leukemia would stay out of Karson’s central nervous system and that he would have no relapses.

  5. That Karson’s anc level would stay over 750 while on maintenance chemo.

  6. That God would protect Karson from any viruses/illnesses.

  7. That Karson would have no more trouble with sinus infections.

  8. That Karson would not develop Diabetes insipidus.

  9. That Karson would stay fever free and that he would not have to be admitted to the hospital.

  10. That Kraig and Christy would have wisdom to know what activities to allow Karson to do so that he will not over-exert himself or get sick.

  11. Rest and endurance for Kraig and Christy.

  12. That God would be glorified through Karson’s battle with leukemia!

Current Chemo Regimen:

Daily chemo pills by mouth at home (amount ranges from one chemo pill to eight chemo pills a night plus a steroid, antibiotics and saline nasal spray)


Once a month he gets IV chemo through his port in his chest as well as oral chemo

Every third month he also gets chemo in his spinal column (during a spinal tap where they also remove spinal fluid and test it for cancer cells) as well as the oral and port chemo
