Well, my sister has come and gone. Sniffle ..
While wandering Portland, we discovered:
a tiny shop called Cupcake Jones, that sold the most decadent filled cupcakes. We tried pecan praline, chocolate mint, and pumpkin cheesecake.
West Elm !!! I’ve been shopping their catalog for years, but didn’t realize they had a store. I have a new desk now - yay!
Oblation Papers & Press, where I found this year’s Christmas cards and a huge array of specialty gift-wrapping items. I stocked up, since I use this to make cards - and it’s always so hard to find stores that carry it.

and what visit to Oregon would be complete without a trip to the Oregon coast.
