Cherry and Mahogany frame. Walnut and White Oak headboard with Holly-wood inlay. Stained glass "sun" with low voltage L.E.D. inset backlighting. Foot arch consists of a solid 20 ply bent lamination of Mahogany. Mahogany was dyed a dark color to provide a rich contrast with the cherry. Planets consist of jade, lapis, and coral; glass for Jupiter, Zebra-wood for saturn with gold flake gilded rings.

Night-stands and their drawers are joined at every corner using dovetails.
