Summary:
- Trip - Plano TX to Broken Bow OK to Eureka Springs to
  Plano TX
- Pack - X, B-Man go North and bring the Old People
  back
- Date - Tues 09/30 @ 7:00 PM till Sun 10/05 @ 3:00 PM
- Miles - 1531 (disappointing stubby)

Fri:
- Plano to Broken Bow
- B-Man takes us throught the night at 85. Very quick trip.
- 8 oz Chicken Fried Steak at Paris Cafe is pleasing/filling.
Cook comes out to see who ordered it.
- Once again, no room at Charles Weston. Microtel.
- Turns out what Runt can pack into a T-Bag, X cannot
remove within 1 hour. Good we are on vacation, otherwise
  it would have been irritating.

Wed:
- Broken Bow to Eureka
- 259 N, Talihema Drive, 71 N, 23 N
- Fog on the Talihema. Heavy fog.
- 71 and 23 are very pleasing. Heavy snackage
- Pig Trail still stinks. Followed an empty 18 wheeler
through the northern part. Dude picked better lines than X.
  He was flying.
- Northern part of 23 is outstanding. X notes NoNic and Nascar
heading south, debates not at all and powers on. B-Man slows
and breaks the rhythm. Brief chatter, on to Eureka and the
  2004 VN 2000:
  - The blue is ugly, the red is okay, the purple was unseen and
they do not offer black. X ordered a purple one.
  - 95-100 HP at the tire, 130-140 ft/lbs of torque. Numbers from
Rice who may match Hoover as speaker of falsehoods.
  - Claim is it eats VTX in the straights and Mean Streaks in the
curves. If true, all praise Mother Kaw.
  - 740 lbs dry, on showroom floors Dec-Mar.
  - Thunder claims Breather Kit available when bike is
   - Kaw claims windshield, engine guard, passenger backrest,
and lightbar available when bike is.
- Thunder hornswaggled Old into buying the same silly breather
kit he sent back previously. "it is worth ...... 5 HP' as all
  Thunder products are.

Thurs:
- This was an EXTREMELY PLEASING day. Extremely.
- Victorian Inn has one paper delivered. Luckily, X grabbed it.
- Old is pleased to think he was up at 7:30, disappointed when told
his clock was wrong and it is 8:30.
- NoNic rolls in after 6:00 AM departure from wherever he was.
  Claims 39 degrees. Chilly.
- Now the pleasing part. Nascar leads NoNic, B-Man, X out
  62, 7, 164, 23 for a few 100 mile loop. Lots of snackage, lots
  of giggling. Very pleasing.
- Return to Inn for more VN 2000 talk, quick blast out to the
  lake for some final twisties.
- TexMex restaurant has proper bike waiter technique. "What
do you want to eat?" snarled properly is a great intro.

Fri:
- Rain/Rain/Stinking rain. Lots of chat, sit through the VN 2000
  pitch by Kelly and Rice.
- Slash weasels her way into being interviewed by "Corbin's Ride
On" TV show. Claims she besmirched Pack's honor. Coyote
collects pool of $125 and bribes show producer into losing Slash's
  footage. Chuckle.
- B-Man weasels way into being filmed for road shots of
VN2000.  (He was riding B-Machine, host of show was riding 2K.)
No bribe needed since B kept passing camera van too fast for it
  to focus.
- Pack gets head table at GTOC dinner.  Pack's table gets fed
absolutely last for second year in a row.  DFWVROC dominated
the raffle, Bubba got an exhaust system, Coyote got something big,
Fergie won a helmet, B-Man won a jacket (and X won 2 stinking
  T-Shirts.)

Sat
- Very pleasing loop of 23, 16, 21 to Kingston lunch.
- Bonus miles when LOTR misses 74 on way to Fayetteville.  Bonus
  miles are always good.
- Saw Harley parade on trip back from Fayetteville.  Saw it for
too long since road was twistie.  Saw parade in rearview mirror as
soon as road opened slightly.  Multiple snacks.

Sun
- Some silly route by Oldman got us (wet) Pleasing twisties early
and still home in 7 hours.

Good trip.
