Runt/X and Shadow went. Old People came down Fri. Pack
returned Sat cause X had to fly to India on Sun.

Thurs:

- Andy's is pleasing. Whines last year about processed turkey results in real thing
    being served this year. (Cooper's is closed on T-Day)

- Best Western rejects the holiday tradition and refuses Shadow a room (NO Beemer riders.)
- Super 8 across the street takes our money.

Fri:

- Bagger will not start. 3 year old battery does not like the cold. Push starting fails.
   Kind words and warming sun gets her to turn over. We decide not to top off with
   gas/let her run awhile.
- Let's do something slightly different.
- 27W, 39W, 83 S to Vanderpool
- Vanderpool gas selection is limited to big tank where 'you turn the valve to 3:00 and
    reset the meter'. We take 1.5 gallons and head to Leakey
- 3's in reverse, 337W, 335N, 41E, 336S. Pleasing. 336 bridges are under construction
    and road is getting gravelly.
- Lunch in Leakey is 1.5 hour wait for sandwiches. It is good we are on vacation.
- 83N, 41E, 1340E(?), 39 back to Kerrville
- Runt gets to stop at Stonehedge 2 and take pictures.
- Old People have arrived and Old is rebuilding various things on Slash's Streak.
    Careful review of Smoke's bags results in duffles being ordered for Claw.

Sat:
- 366 miles
- 9:00 departure for warmth waiting becomes 10:00 departure for Bagger starting.
   Jumper cables work after Widder patch cord fails/pops fuses.
- 1341, I10 (oops missed exit), 473, 1376, 290, 965 to Llano for Coopers
- Slash whines about Old's quality of sirloin and gets a free pound of meet. Tactic
    may be used in the future.
- 16, 501, 580, 581 is gravelly as Old slices the center line and showers Bagger with
    rock. Still pleasing.
- 281, 22, 219, 1238, 927, 174, 916, 35, 67 home

- 1057 mile for the weekend.
