 - Cooper's is most excellent.
 - X gets hornswaggled when Runt decides to shop at Uptown Lukenbach. 
   Damage was limited to a magnet.
 - YO Ranch in Kerrville is overrated.
 - Crusing down 27 to look at the shops is a good shopping experience.  There are no
    shops.
 - Vacation is a very very good thing.

 - 16 to Medina has some water crossing marked rough road.  Not too bad but 
    pay attention.
 - 336 cattle guards can no longer be taken at speed.  Tried it on first 2, had to go back
    twice to pick up a filling and then a cap.  40 seemed to keep all parts intact.
 - 335 remains a most pleasing road.
 - Runt rejected Camp Wood food so we dined in Leakey across from the DFWVROC
   gas station.  Pleasing cheese steak.
 - We scoff at 'Road closed to thru traffic signs'.  It is a fake to keep traffic down.
    Wrong.  They meant it on 1120.
 - Carving nicely along 473 when suddenly we are back on the Goat Trail/Grapetown Rd.
    U-Turn.  No signage.  Runt whimpers she wants more goat trail.  Scoff.  473/1376 to
    Luckenback is pleasing.
 - Warmed nicely leaving Luckenbach.  Should have put the neckdripper on.
 - Dinner at the Branding Iron in YO Ranch is a 2 hour experience.  Wait staff were
   confused.  Runt entertainied newcomers with 'I hope you are not hungry', 'I suggest
   you get 2 Cokes', etc.  X had a lovely view of the back wall, hence was limited to
   audio from Runt on the 'The big guy in the corner is really getting mad and the
   old guy to the left is throwing things at the waitress and etc' story line.  It was 
   better than the movie we watched.

 - Plan to toddle along the sweepers and have lunch at Cooper's is twisted
   by the throttle.  Cannot wait an hour for them to open so onward.
 - Neckdrippers go on in Meriden and get refilled in Venus.  B-Man's heat
   whining has softened the pack.

 I love vacation.
