Thanks for Pilgrim for sharing "part of his world" yesterday.  Weather was
perfect and 15 bikes not counting Rooster cause we left him at gas station.
 Not my fault!

Food was good at Flossies but a little slow coming.  The group was rowdy
taking food out of hands of waitress no matter what they ordered.  Free ice
cream cone at end was good surprise.

Pilgrim has a deep set belief in the rule "Ride to eat, and eat to ride".
He did Goldwingers proud.  :}

Thanks also Pilgrim for leading the way. It was good to ride with some of
you all again and to finally meet those from the "Eastern" side of the
world. The food was good at Flossies and as Slash said, kinda slow. But made
time for conversation and getting to know some of you all.
Runt, thanks for the Ranch & fries suggestion. Never had that before and
will try it again for sure.
Was able to take a few (three) pictures, did not want to get left behind ;)
or would have taken a few more. Check them out at www.picturetrail.com/ray3
Thanks again and looking forward to riding more that I have retired

B-Man & X go to Ark

Wed or Thur - Stoney is in town, Runt has company/does not need X under foot.
                    - B-Girl has family in town, B-Man is banned from the house
                    - Arkansas
Fri - Work is bad, there will be no early departure
      - Work is worse, departure will be too late to leave tonight
      - Go drink
Sat - 6:00 AM is a lovely time to rollout of Texaco (lie)
       - Note to self, remember to thank Runt for making me take jacket.  Chilly.
       - 75N, 70E, 271N cheap miles
       - Talihema Drive, cross into Ark, B-Man disappears into a bank of fog.
Fog is not a good thing, duck off to 270
       - 71, 28, 27, lunch (or something like that)
       - something, 307 (oops, uturn) something, 309 (silly road), 23 (stupid pig
trail, sport bikes that pass lumbering cruisers on stupid 15 MPH curves
         should be banned) and then
       - Sixteen (16 gets more pleasing every time)
       - 7 to Hot Springs
       - Two crouch rockets were in danger of being snacked till they went straight
         and we went left.
       - There were 2 '3.8 gallons in the 4.2 gallon tank' episodes mixed in there
       - B-Man decides X has not had enough switchbacks so we take the
Hot Springs Scenic Drive.  This was acceptable when we thought it
was accidental, it became irritating when we found it was done knowingly.
       - 611 brisk/spirited/bracing/DS miles (something for everyone)
       - bonus 19 driving around Hot Springs looking for hotel and Chinese Buffet.
       - Hint of the week: Western Sizzler is $6.99 for the food bar and you eat
immediately.  For $2 more, you get 0.8 ounce of steak (yeah 0.8, not 8.0)
that you wait 30 minutes for and same food bar.  You guess the hint.
Sun - Weather channel says 'slow moving, midafternoon, 2 inchs of rain
        - X says 'Interstate', B-Man grumbles
        - 7 is nice, then alot of boring interstate to 380 were herd slice snacking is
          entertaining.
        - Note to self: Passing car on 7 that does not wabt to be passed is more fun
when you KNOW the roads are dry vs thinking they are dry.
        - 268 miles to home
        - 917 for the weekend

 Thought of the week:
   - Let the rains fall in CO.  Fires need to be out for the Fourth or it is Missouri.
