Subject: Easter in MO

 - 9:00 departure per plan
   - 75N, 121N, 82E, 37N, 70N, 259N
   - X takes lead to find BBQ
     - Turn into burned out building.  Oops
     - Turn into Smokin Joes.  Closed Oops
     - Find small cafe 100 yds north of Joes.  Good burgers
   - 59N, 51W, 62W, 10N (very pleasing except for traffic)
   - 60E to Neosho
     - Getting chilly/dark.  No Springfield.  Let's stop in Monett
   - Dycus misses 60.  Bonus loop 71N, J E (silly state, they letter the
roads), 37SW to Monett Super 8.  Dinner at Black Kettle in town,
     Bud in room
   - 498 miles
 - X leads out at 8:45
   - 60E to billings to 14E
     - Lots of towns, pack unruly
   - 14E starts open up, pack pleased
     - Lovely section ruined by 1964 Datsun until gap is found to snack him
     - Multiple 35/40 s curves (35 is a theory since they just mark turn,
       no speed)
   - 60/63 SW to W Plains to Runt's KFC Buffet
     - Electrics on, good to be warm
   - 160 W
     - Sections of this are Arkansas class roads except for the driveways.
        Very very pleasing
     - It would really be nice if they marked the curves with a number
   - 248, 37, 90
     - Good call by Dycus on 90, more endless twisties
     - After day long entry speeds of +20/25, X choses a decreasing radius
35 to enter at +30.  Resultant scrape did not rattle the bike as much
as the resultant headslap did.  Luckily, MO is helmet state.  No
       further scraping.
   - 43N, 25W (map says 25, signs says 0), 10S to Tahlequah
     - Oak Hill Inn, $40, clean, grub/bar in same parking lot, pleasing
   - 427 miles (350 of them curves)
 - 8:45 departure
   - X notices cupping/low tread.  Panic, visions of Viper limping home
on cords.  Dycus/Runt scoff.  No comfort
   - 10S, 82S (big sweepers), 64E (boring), 59S, 31W (boring), 82S
     - last 16 miles of 82 would have been very nice if they had actually
had any pavement on the road.  Patches on top of patches was
not comforting.  Nickname of 'Ginger' (in honor of riding technique)
       was not appreciated.
   - 1W, 2W to Antlers
     - there is no food in Antlers
   - 271S to Hugo where there is no food
   - 271 S to Paris where there is ...... Dairy Queen.  Hngry, do not
     care
   - 82W, 121, 75, home
   - 333
 - Total 1258
 - Very pleasing
 - Need new tires
 - (And for those who shunned us and went East .....
Not a drop of rain felt/seen/sensed/spotted/etc)
