I’ve enjoyed tremendously designing and then teaching a class for young men to provide some guidance on what it means to be and act like a man of God.

The main units of the class included (from Raising a Modern Day Knight by Robert Lewis):

1. Reject passivity (don’t walk past injustice)
   

2. Accept responsibility (when things need to be done and when things go wrong)
   

3. Lead courageously (do what’s right even when people pressure you not to)
   

4. Seek the greater reward (delay gratification to do things God’s way and get rewarded)
   

This week the guys had their final. It was a group interview to defend their portfolio of course work.  After the final, we gave them a short challenge, a framed certificate and a polo shirt each with a newly designed crest for the class.  You can see the pictures of the shirt and certificate, the final interviews and other class activities.  E-mail me if you want to see the class curriculum.
