As soon as early week comes to end, all that hard work comes to a first test very quickly. The entire university young and old gets together the weekend before classes start to get students excited about the upcoming. There are plenty of activities for students and parents to interact in, especially for the freshmen to get know the campus. To conclude Saturday’s activities, events staff on campus puts together an exciting pep-rally like event where the Ram Band has a chance to perform. This year was especially important since it was the first chance for the band to show a new face under a new director. The performance including some new cheers to get the crowd into the spirit of the games to come in the season and new dance charts for the Angelettes. While crowd wasn’t on its feet on every song, the band played well and showed much improvement over the previous year.
